Man (irritated): I can’t take off any vacation time, that ship has sailed.

 

SFX: Children laughing.

 

Woman 1 (stressed and frustrated): I can’t get drinks tonight. I don’t have anyone to take care of the kids, so that ship has sailed.

 

SFX: Calendar flipping, pencil writing on paper then being crumpled.

 

Woman 2 (defeated): It’s too late to make any dining reservations, that ship has sailed.

SFX: Cruise ship horn blares.

SFX: Light chattering and laughter, plates being unstacked and moved, silverware taping against plates.

 

Boy: Excuse me sir, but how much in allowance money would this plate cost? 

 

Server: (chuckles softly) Everything here is free!

Boy: Even the pizza? And the ice cream?!

Server (amused): Yes everything!

Boy: Then make it a double!

Woman (whispering): Should we tell him that the food is already included with Royal Caribbean’s prices?

Young boy (in the distance): This is amazing!
